Intro
The DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral is a compact, but powerful solution that can aid farmers is monitoring crops and can help in gaining greatly beneficial crop health information. The M3M (Mavic 3 Multispectral) captures a variety of data via its 4 multispectral cameras that take in information from a variety of wavelengths.
How does it work?
The M3M can be paired with a DJI RTK module which gives it centimeter accuracy during flights which provides extremely accurate data on mapped areas. DJI SmartFarm or Terra can be used with the M3M to collect useful data that can be utilized to locate areas of crops that are in poor shape. When utilizing DJI SmartFarm data that's collected from the M3M can seamlessly be utilized by Agras series drones which can target undernourished crops to be sprayed with nutrients or other agrochemicals*.
How is it controlled?
DJI has paired the M3M with the RC Pro Enterprise controller which is a complete, easy to use and self enclosed radio that provides everything you need at your fingertips. The DJI RC Pro enterprise can be used to obtain real time data and a live view from the drone as well as live health status of the aircraft. In the case a pilot would like to run a pre determined path, DJI SmartFarm or Terra can be utilized to plot and execute repeatable flight paths that consistently deliver accurate data.
