Intro
DJI initially launched the Agras MG-1 in 2015, which has now been replaced by the T-series (T10/T20/T40). Agras drones such as the T40 are designed with efficiency and ease of use in mind to make it simple for farmers and agriculturists to deploy and start using the T series for a variety of applications in no time. The T-series is able to spread seeds, fertilizers and water dry spots with speed and efficiency.
Use cases of the Agras Series.
The Agras is primarily developed to aid farmers in a variety of crop related matters, such as fertilization, and watering dry spots that are missed by a ground based irrigation system. The Agras lineup offers a few attachments such as the spreader which is able to distribute seeds in high accuracy thanks to the advanced onboard positioning systems (RTK). With the spraying system equipped on the T40, up to 70L* of water or other liquids can be carried, and with the Agras T40s powerful flight dynamics up to 52 acres/hour can be covered.

In this study noted improvements are seen within spreading of agrochemicals, as well as greatly decreased labor costs and more efficient operation compared to some alternate methods such a tractor.
This study noted the greatly improved land coverage and efficiency of the Agras system opposed to a tractor. The study also noted that water and chemical use could be greatly reduced thanks to the Agras series precision which limits waste.
